- Improve policy coherence to attract and retain FDI
Who we Are
The Tanzania Investment Growth Facility (TIGF), hosted by the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) and supported by UNDP Tanzania, serves as a dedicated platform to strengthen project preparation, mobilize capital, and fast-track investment into Tanzania’s priority development sectors.
Tanzania has an ambitious pipeline of infrastructure, tourism, conservation, and industrial projects aligned with the Five-Year Development Plan and Dira 2050. However, the journey from concept to investment-ready project often faces bottlenecks in technical preparation, financing structuring, and cross-institutional coordination.
